A message from The StaminoGro Edenvale Marathon
Dear Edenvale Marathon Supporters, Runners and Walkers alike!
The smell of Jasmin, permeating the air whilst out on our runs and walks, signifies that spring is here and summer, just around the corner!
Both reminding us to "spring" into action and to start with our race considerations and race planning for the next 6-months, heading into 2026.
What better way then, than to start right here!

The 2026 edition of The StaminoGro Edenvale Marathon will take place on Sunday, March 8th , starting and finishing at Edenvale High School. The event is proudly hosted and presented by The Edenvale Rand Road Warriors, a club with a rich road running history in Edenvale, and will once again take place under the Race Directorship of Robin Hide, who first ran for the club when it was founded in 1989.
The club has played host to an annual Road Race, taking place from various venues in and around Edenvale, ever since it was established. The StaminoGro Edenvale Marathon as it is now affectionately known, has firmly established itself on the Road Running Calendar and, is a well-known and well-respected event, having stood the test of time for the past 37 years.
We are extremely proud to announce that we have re-signed StaminoGro as our headline partner, up to and including our 2027 event.
In life, change is inevitable!

The first of our changes is to introduce our all new 10-Mile (16km) challenge as part of our offering, adding a refreshing new dimension to the day!
The 10-Miler is a very popular and regular race distance on the European and American circuits and, we are positive that it will prove to have the same popularity on March 8th.

All new routes.
The change continues. Each of our three events on offer, being our 42.km Marathon, the all-new 10-Miler and our 5km Fun Run will also ALL feature brand new routes, bringing about new challenges and opportunities within the same familiar surroundings of Edenvale, very proudly affording you "The Spirit of Running Edenvale"!

Comrades and Oceans Qualifiers.
The current qualifying calendar finds us being really spoilt for choice!
Our marathon proudly remains as a Comrades Marathon and Two Oceans qualifier.
Qualifying times will all be calculated on a mat-to-mat basis with race timing undertaken by Peak Timing.
At The StaminoGro Edenvale Marathon, we will continue to strive toward offering you a local qualifier without breaking the bank, ensuring our value exceeds our price!

Early Bird Entry Incentive.
The first 500 entries into the Marathon and the first 500 entries into the 10-Miler, will each receive a FREE long sleeve race shirt. (Important to note there are limited numbers per size).

SmacPix are once again our official event photographers and event commentary and sound is proved by AllyCat events. Dial-A-Medic will provide Medical Response. Security at our event will be proudly provided by Mamba Security. Finally, our lead vehicles are gladly supplied by Motus Mercedes-Benz.

"The StaminoGro Edenvale Marathon – Powered by Passion, Drive with Pride"

The StaminoGro Edenvale Marathon is an official Comrades Marathon and Two Oceans Marathon qualifier. Marathon qualifying times will be calculated on a mat-to-mat basis. Athletes will need to download and submit their times to Comrades and / or Two Oceans. The 5km Fun Run will not be timed.

The Rand Road Warriors is a community-based running club, located (Edenvale Bowls Club)  in Edenvale, with a proud and rich history since, going back to, 1989 when it was founded by Edenvale resident, Vernon Cloete. The Club has been hosting the Edenvale marathon for the past 37 years and is a well-known and respected event on the road running calendar.

The Rand Road Warriors together with StaminoGro are proud to present the Edenvale Marathon 2026. 

A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to four charities, three of which are based in Edenvale and work within the Edenvale Community.
